For twenty years, The Paraplanners have been pioneers in outsourced paraplanning in the UK – whether that’s the way we work (we’ve been WFH since 2002) or our pursuit of the most demanding professional standards.
Back then, some people said you couldn’t have a career in paraplanning. But we didn’t believe that. It’s what we do and what we love. And opportunities to join us are rare. But *deep breath* we’re looking for someone to become a member of our team.
Could it be you?
Who are we looking for?
You might currently be a paraplanner, technical analyst, researcher or even an adviser – we don’t mind. We are looking for someone special and if that’s you, we would love to hear from you.
We work with a range of financial advisers and planners throughout the UK plugging in our paraplanning service and helping them deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients.
Here are some things we’d like you to be good at
Preparing high quality analysis, insight and reports and everything that goes with it such as:
- Defining client objectives
- Tax calculations
- Risk profiling
- Creating solutions and strategies
- Logical thinking and problem solving
- Cash flow forecasts
- Portfolio research
- Product research
- Compliance checks
We have built efficient processes to deliver our service and you will be comfortable working with these but also happy coming up with good ideas to make them even better.
You will already have good qualifications (at least Level 4) and be willing to get more – we aim for Chartered and/or Certified. We don’t expect you to know all the answers though, just where and how to find them. Don’t be shy about telling us about what you can and can’t do.
Most importantly you will be able to think on your feet, be a great problem solver, happy working on your own and take pride in delivering a great service.
All together better
At The Paraplanners we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation; we are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive and to being a place where all belong.
We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are currently underrepresented in the financial services workforce.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment whether full or part time.
