Claire Goodwin to join our team in January
I'm really pleased to announce that Claire Goodwin will be joining our team at The Paraplanners from 20 January 2014.
Claire's an Accredited Paraplanner who started her career in pensions administration with Aviva before progressing into paraplanning roles, more recently with the Chesterfield-based Taylor Oliver partnership.
At The Paraplanners, Claire will be working alongside fellow paraplanners Kim Bendall, Kat Mock and me, as well as Gemma Dennis who leads our client administrative management service, to provide paraplanning support to a number of our clients.
Claire's been an active member of the UK's paraplanning community for more than three years; contributing to the development of the profession as a member of the IFP's paraplanning working group and, with Jo Hague, John Redmond and Jared Bowers, hosted the first Paraplanners Powwow Up North in October this year.
It's a bit cheeky, because Claire's not actually started yet, but I asked her to jot down her thoughts about joining the team. Here's what she said:
"Having never worked in a team of paraplanners before, I'm absolutely delighted to be joining such a great firm. I look forward to getting my teeth into some of the technical challenges and getting to know the people who make The Paraplanners what it is."
It's a real compliment to the team that we've built at The Paraplanners, that we're able to catch the eye of talented paraplanners like Claire. We're ever so pleased to welcome her to the team.
